Bardo@Lumiere-YVR
Bardo is an interactive installation by MOVE37XR, reflecting on the parallels between Earth’s water cycle and human life cycles. Drawing from Buddhist concepts, participants’ bodies are transformed into rain, rivers, and mist, symbolizing childhood, adulthood, and the return to the bardo, respectively. The installation incorporates technology and ancient wisdom, blending immersive visuals with a soundscape by Ruby Singh. MOVE37XR’s work, founded by John Desnoyers-Stewart and Pravin Pillay, combines art and emerging media to spark deep connections and transformative experiences.

Creative City Summit 2024 - Catalysts of Change: Innovating Emerging Immersive Media for Ecological and Social Engagement - Immersive Keynote Experience
This interactive session at the Canadian Creative City Summit invites summit attendees to explore the transformative potential of emerging immersive media in public and community arts. Participants will discover how to leverage these technologies to address ecological and social issues, fostering deeper connections within communities and with their environments. The session will highlight the integration of ancient wisdom practices and traditional bioregional knowledge with cutting-edge technology, offering new ways to connect with the public.
The focus will be on creating not just ideas but embodied experiences that demonstrate the impact of these technologies. Attendees will engage in hands-on activities and discussions that emphasize the development of compelling immersive experiences. These activities will showcase the power of art across various media, including music, poetry, photography, and film, to envision alternative futures and advocate for civil and environmental justice. The session will challenge participants to engage audiences in meaningful ways, making complex issues accessible and engaging.
Following the panel with - MOVE37 members Pravin Pillay, Ruby Singh, & John Desnoyers-Stewart, a discussion room will be available for delegates who wish to delve deeper into the topics covered. This space will facilitate more detailed conversations, experience sharing, and networking among participants keen to explore the practical applications of the session's themes. By the end of the session, participants will have practical tools and strategies to create impactful art projects that resonate with diverse audiences, encourage civic participation, and strengthen connections to place. This session aims to inspire and equip cultural leaders to act as catalysts of change, fostering a more vibrant and inclusive arts ecosystem that addresses the pressing challenges of our time.

Creator Jam Test Night and Immersive Experience
The MOVE37XR Immersive Media Creator Jam was not just an event; it was an experience to test out the concept and develop a process to host future Creator James. Participants were invited to Imagine a space that blends the energy of an art studio, the innovation of a tech lab, and the intimate connection of a salon. Limited to a max of 35 invited participants, including artists, Indigenomics Wellness Retreat attendees, Salt Spring Centre of Yoga Karma Yogis, and MOVE37XR guests, this gathering was designed as an experiment to explore how to push the boundaries of what's possible in the realms of art, technology, and consciousness.

Indigenomics Wellness Retreat
The Indigenomics Institute team retreat hosted in the M37 Earth-Sky Dome, was a deeply healing and rejuvenating experience, designed to nurture a collective sense of care rooted in Indigenous perspectives. This retreat offered a series of immersive activities that strengthen the Indigenomics Institute connections—to each other, to the land, and to their shared purpose. By embracing a ceremonial approach, we create a sacred space where individual team members can reconnect with their breath, engage in meaningful reflection, and grow together as a team. The prime objective - for Indigenomics Team members to leave the retreat with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper connection to one another and the work they are committed to.

Earth-Sky Immersive Dome - Test Event - Annual Community Yoga Retreat
The prototype immersive media Earth-Sky dome (aka the OM Dome) debuted at Annual Community Yoga Retreat 2024. Sonic and visual explorations in kirtan, sound bathing, dance vignette and taiko drumming were experienced and yoga teachers offered classes at the OM Dome providing students with a unique sonic and spatial experience.

Creative Director provided a keynote talk entitled "The Future of Interactive Art: Inspiring Change and Cultivating Empathy,” for the Storytelling, Media, Games & Art track of the Transformative Impact Summit, will provide valuable insights into the use of immersive technologies to foster empathy and drive systemic change.
The summit offered a unique platform to connect with family offices, impact investors, philanthropists, and venture capitalists, providing opportunities to secure core funding and financial support.
