SXSW 2024 - Panel at Canada House

Igniting Creativity: A Transformative Journey

Toward a Global Indigenous Technology House at SXSW

Panel Description: The Global Centre of Indigenomics and M37 are embarking on an ambitious endeavour that is challenging the status quo through the pivotal question: 'How can we ignite an unprecedented surge of creativity by establishing a Global Indigenous Technology House at SXSW?'  We are architecting a transformative experience that converges XR studios, visionary funders, groundbreaking artists, and innovative technologists towards unlocking talent and project development opportunities in the creative economy. With a focus on an Indigenous worldview, this conversation highlights the significance of kinship relationships between humanity and the natural world through immersive technology and the experience of story.
