What’s in our name.
M37 draws its name and inspiration from AlphaGo’s 37th move in the ancient game of Go, a move that marked a pivotal moment in the intersection of human intelligence and artificial intelligence.
Move 37 was the point at which AI demonstrated its ability to think beyond human capabilities. In 2,500 years since the game’s creation, not one human would have played this pivotal move. This broke through traditional strategies and revealed the AI's capacity to redefine a game’s landscape and that AI could go beyond human thinking and logic. It was a seminal moment that symbolized the transformational power of technology to challenge and expand human understanding.
MOVE37XR's name captures the essence of this transformative potential. Just as the 37th move in Go created new ways to play the game, MOVE37XR aims to enable humanity to innovate how it interacts with the biosphere by exploring immersive art, technology, ecology, and consciousness.
